But have you ever imagined that the life of these Bollywood celebs which seems to be full of Glamour, joy and fun can be full of hardships too. Here we have a list of celebrities that dealt with or are dealing with some major ailments. Lets know about these celebs that have gone through the storm but have fought them strong.

1. Manisha Koirala

The Indian actress Manisha Koirala is a known face of B-town. But a storm in the form of disease hit her life on 29th November 2012 when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She went through a surgery on 10th December which was successful and now the diva is leading a cancer-free life.

2. Lisa Ray

The actress Lisa Ray a model got diagnosed with a disease called as “myeloma” in 2009.  It is a cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow, a rare disease.This disease is treatable but incurable. Myeloma is also known as multiple myeloma, which is cancer arising from plasma cells (Plasma cells is a part of your immune system) In myeloma, plasma cells become abnormal and multiply uncontrollably releasing an antibody known as paraprotein, which is not useful. Myeloma does not exist as a lump or tumor, unlike other cancer. Myeloma affects multiple places in the body like- bones of the spine, skull, pelvis, the rib cage, long bones of the arms and legs and the areas around the shoulders and hips too.

3. Saif Ali Khan

5. Amitabh Bachchan

In July 1982, when he was shooting an action scene for his movie “Coolie” he met with an accident that injured him severely. He lost a lot of blood and his Splenic Rupture. A ruptured spleen is caused by a blow to the left upper abdomen or the left lower chest. It can be an outcome of a car crash, fight or injury. He was pronounced clinically dead but he recovered completely after a few months and resumed his work in film industry. He suffered a terrible disease called Myasthenia gravis that leads to weakness of muscles. His fighting spirit deserves a salute as he fought for life and won with his willpower.

6. Anurag Basu

In 2004 Anurag Basu was diagnosed with Blood Cancer also termed as Leukemia, which is a rare disease. Doctors told him that he has just 50% chance of survival.  But he fought all his battles and portrayed an example of “Never give up”.

7. Rajnikanth

The famous Tamil Nadu actor Rajnikant has made people fall for his acting so much that they worship him. At the age of 61, he was detected with Allergic Bronchitis & Viral Fever. He was admitted to ICU after being exhausted and later was taken to Singapore for treatment.

Because an endocrine tumor develops from cells that produce hormones, the tumor can also produce hormones that can cause serious illness. Stage III: Cancer has spread to the lymph nodes and may have spread to nearby bone, muscle, connective tissue, or cartilage. Stage IV: The tumor has spread to distant parts of the body, such as the liver, lung, bone, or brain.
