Microsoft is planning to remove Paint and this is the second blow to our childhood memories this week. We all have messed around in this Paint app in our childhood. We all have tried to draw a masterpiece of our own but ended up miserably.
After a long journey of 32 years, Microsoft is planning to remove Paint, which we had since 1985. Microsoft’s Autumn Creators Update is going to focus more on Paint 3D app which was launched sometimes back. Ever since Microsoft launched the Paint app, it has been an integral part of our childhood.
MSPaint, earlier known as “paintbrush” was released in 1985. MSPaint is now in the list of Microsoft’s “features to deprecated”. in the upcoming Windows update, where it states “Will be available through the Windows Store. Functionality integrated into Paint 3D.”. Hope Paint 3D gives us the same joy.
Child these days are born in an era where accessing the internet is a piece of cake. But in our childhood days, all we can access was MSPaint and pinball. FYI, Pinball wasn’t launched until windows XP.
People from all over the world have expressed their love for MSPaint over the internet. Well, why shouldn’t they? We didn’t have the internet to mess around in our childhood. MSPaint is and will remain a part of our childhood. The early days of us sitting right in front of a desktop and make some absurd paintings and putting it up as ours wallpaper. A lot of our memories are attached to it. And now everybody has taken social media to bid farewell to their favourite childhood app.
