Last month, Samsung has announced the Galaxy J7 2017 model smartphone and it’s available in few markets for now. Now the company has launched the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 smartphone its home market (South Korea). The Galaxy J7 2017 is available on KY Corp which is one of the major mobile carriers in South Korea.
Samsung’s Galaxy J7 2017 comes is the same model that the company launched in other markets. The specifications and features are same as the original one. It’s a mid-range smartphone that has decent hardware under the hood. It comes with 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. The Galaxy J7 2017 variant is powered by with Cota-core CPU which clocks at 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 under the hood along with the company’s own Exynos 7870 chipset.
Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 has 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage option and supports micro SD card up to 256 GB. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box and packed with 3,600mAh battery inside. There is a 13-megapixel camera on the back side with LED flash and same 13-megapixel camera on the front side for taking selfies. It comes with a front mounted fingerprint sensor and mobile payment platform Samsung Pay features same as the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
Over the few weeks, we’ve heard a lot of rumours that Samsung will launch the Galaxy J7 2017 in China. But the Chinese variant of the Galaxy J7 2017 might be different from the original one. Several rumours claim that the Chinese Galaxy J7 2017 will come with Dual camera sensors on the back side. But it’s not confirmed yet by the company that the Chinese Galaxy J7 2017 model exists.
However, Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 is available in the South Korean market at KRW 396,000 (around $355) via KT Corp.
